Jenna Mae Sharp, age 14, of Lehi Utah passed away Saturday, June 7th 2025 from injuries sustained in an auto-pedestrian accident on May 30th. She passed peacefully at Primary Children's Hospital while surrounded by her family.
Born July 16, 2010, Jenna was the second of four daughters. Her spunky and expressive personality was apparent from a very young age and her hilarious contributions to our family home videos will be forever cherished. We will miss her spontaneous "pokes in the belly" and surprise tickle attacks.
Jenna loved to bake, stay up late doing her sisters' nails and keep her parents up into the wee hours asking all the questions and talking about all the things. Jenna adored her friends and they were one of the most important things in her life.
In the last several years, Jenna developed a love for acting and was recently accepted into Lehi High School's musical theatre program. She also enjoyed her ceramics and French classes, all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. We will deeply miss watching her talents unfold, but we trust that she'll continue to shine and grow on the other side. She had a deep affection for all things French, spent a memorable summer in France with her cousins, and hoped to one day serve an LDS mission there.
Jenna loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and was always willing and ready to teach lessons and give talks in church. She was so inclusive of others and truly exemplified the pure love of Christ. If someone looked sad and alone on a bench at recess, Jenna would be the kid to go sit by them. Jenna loves to collect quotes and had a journal full of them. She would also make up her own uplifting quotes and write them in the sand for strangers to find on the beach.
Jenna's care for others culminated into her final act of selflessness as an organ donor. We had never considered this prior to her accident but felt a strong prompting from her that this was her desire - to save as many people as possible.
Jenna is survived by her father Chris, mother Cheri, and three sisters: Chloe, Stephanie, and Gwen. The void left in the hearts of those who loved her will be immense but we know she will be there in her own special ways, leading us heaven-ward until we meet again with joy and gladness in our hearts. We love you Jenna!
Family and friends are invited to a closed-casket viewing on June 14th from 9:45 - 10:45am at 2256 North Providence Dr., Saratoga Springs, UT. Funeral service will immediately follow from 11:00 - 12:00pm and will be live streamed here: https://www.youtube.com/live/1-B9SLrdxuE
