Jennie Fruge Obituary
Visitation for Ms. Fruge will begin Thursday morning, October 14, 2021, at the Roanoke Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. and will conclude for the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Ms. Fruge was born on September 1, 1936, in Evangeline to Joseph and Mary Daigle Young and lived in the Jennings area her entire life. She was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family. She also loved shopping and going to church. She was a very devoted Jennings Bulldog football fan.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are two daughters, Donnette Fruge of Jennings, and Misty (Zachary) Savario of Lake Charles; two sons, Robbie (Becky) Fruge of Jennings and Kevin (Michelle) Fruge of Cedar Park, TX; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carla Jo Fruge; a sister, Joyce Broussard; and two brothers, Edry Daigle and Revis Daigle.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Fruge, Kevin Fruge, Zachary Savario, Tyler Savario, Jimmie LeGros and Jeremy LeGros.
