Jennifer Lockman-Sechler 38, of Sterling, Colorado, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on June 10, 2025. She was born on April 28, 1987 in Arlington, Texas to Jackie Lockman & Lonna (Lockman) Newell. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed.
Jen from the first day you were given to us from a gift from above you have touched so many that knew and loved you. You knew when Jennifer would walk into a room, it would light up with her beauty and quiet confidence. Jen was always a very motivated individual. She was the very first person in her family to pursue and secure a higher education. She attended Northern Arizona University and secured a degree in Business Administration and later obtained her masters online. She applied her education wisely and did very well and made her family very proud. Even though Jen was very busy with her professional life she always placed family first, and this includes her best friend, soulmate and husband Matt, her three children Alizea, Jack and Elsie.
Jen enjoyed many activities, including but not limited to, fishing, camping, gardening, and recently found a fondness for taking care of a range of farm animals. Jen, those that knew you and loved you so deeply our void can't be replaced but your spirit lives on. We celebrate the memories and time that we had with you. Rest in peace, my dear.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Matt Sechler, Children, Alizea, Jack and Elsie. Her parents Jack Lockman, Lonna Newell (Bobby), Siblings, Gina Lockman, Jesse Newell (Elizabeth) and a large loving extended family.
She was preceded in death by her brother Morgan Lockman, grandparents, and many extended family.
