Jennifer Kaye McKenna, 72, of Appleton, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on December 26, 2024.

Jen was born in Clintonville, Wisconsin, on September 28, 1952, to Benjamin and Evangeline (Fraedrich) Laatsch.

Jen was always up for swimming in her pool, baking the best cakes, and making Christmas candies. She started out her career as a beautician, but later found out she had a knack for cooking. She was employed at Marc’s Big Boy, Walmart and the 10th frame. She was someone who made people laugh and was always willing to help anyone. She had the biggest heart even when she was going through the toughest challenges, beating cancer twice and so many surgeries only to be taken too soon by Sjogrens disease.

Jen is survived by her husband Lloyd, her daughter Michele (fiancée Eric Dahl) Laatsch, stepson Lloyd (Molly) McKenna, brother Terry (Luanne) Laatsch, sister Judy (Donald) Arndt, grandchildren Dylan Kurey, Devin Hartjes, Kyler Hartjes, Alexia Kurey, Alyona Hartjes ( Kody Bradley), Abigail Kurey, Ava Kurey, Alex McKenna, Charley and Elliot Dahl, great granddaughter Hazel Hartjes, and her beloved pet Pedro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Ramona Laatsch and granddaughter Allison McKenna.

A private service will be held for Jen per her wishes.
