Jennifer Steimer Obituary
Hamburg: Jennifer “Jen” Steimer, age 50, passed away January 28, 2025, following a short illness. Jen was born in Lockport February 9, 1974, the daughter of Bernice Johnson and the late Roger Steimer. Jen was a graduate of Royalton-Hartland class of 1992 and obtained her master’s degree from the University of Buffalo. Jen was employed at Catholic Health for many years and enjoyed spending time outside of work with her friends. Jen was an animal lover and enjoyed her dogs, Gia and the late Lilly.
She is survived by her mother, Bernice Johnson of Lackawanna, brother, George (Stephanie) Steimer of Youngstown, niece, Emma and nephew Josh; aunts and uncles, Sandy (Mike) Watier of Lockport, Robert (Janice) Powell of GA., Elaine Irby of VA., several cousins and many close friends that were like family to her.
Jen’s family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home 4521 Main Street, Gasport, NY 14067 on Friday January 31, from 4:00-8:00pm, where Jen’s Funeral Service will be held Saturday February 1, at 11:00am. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pixie Mamas Rescue, P.O. Box 176, Buffalo, NY 14220.
