Jeremy “Milkshake” Dennis, age 45, of Perrin, Texas passed away on May 27, 2025. He was born on February 2, 1980, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Jerry and Jennie Dennis.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA 71118. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. located at Springhill Cemetery, 506 Cemetery Rd, Springhill, LA 71075. Honoring Jeremy as pallbearers will be Toby Williams, Gary Allen Riley, Chris Hodge, Robert Bailey, Jason Millican, and Chris Carney.
Jeremy was eating at the Iron Skillet restaurant where he discovered his love for trucks. He worked in the trucking industry for 20 years and always had his driving companion, Blue, by his side. Jeremy loved his boys more than anything and was a caring man that would help anyone. He will be dearly missed by many loved ones.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Dennis; stepfather, Curtis Douzart; paternal grandparents, Roy and Maxine Dennis; and maternal grandparents, Overt and Tessie Bolton. Left to cherish his memory include his mother, Jennie Dennis Douzart; sons, Kamden and William Dennis; and his fur baby, Blue.
