Jeremy Luke Mix passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
Jeremy Luke Mix was usually serving quietly in the back, but even then, he was hard to miss His investment in and impact on the people in his life loomed far larger than his silhouette. He was well-known, well-regarded and well-loved by many.
No doubt you knew Jer too:
A big giver of even bigger hugs,
A family man of fierce loyalty,
A caring friend of shocking generosity,
A straight-shooting engineer, employee & entrepreneur with (too) many irons in the fire,
A driver of Volvos and other 'cars of character,'
A musician who uplifted many with his gifting,
A loving husband of one lovely woman,
A proud and protective father of four sweet girls,
A committed follower of his Savior Jesus Christ,
An imperfect man who daily gave and received grace,
An ambassador of God's Kingdom, striving to bring heaven down to earth,
And a fighter who would struggle and strive through anything-even emergency cardiovascular surgery.
With this last fight, his Lord took him home to glory-far, far too soon for you and me, but just in time to hear, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." Now, perhaps for the first time, it'll be hard not to miss him.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11:00 am at Blue Roof Church, 3084 Niles Rd. St Joseph, MI, 49085. Visitation will take place from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the church. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. Cards and condolences may be sent to Christina Mix.
