Jermaine Joy Dommer, 72, of Green Bay, passed away on November 13, 2025 at her home with her husband by her side.
She was born on January 16, 1953 to Ewald and Violet (Krause) Kroening in Shawano, Wisconsin. She graduated from Bonduel High School in 1971. She worked various jobs throughout her working career mostly in customer service positions, where she did make life-long friendships.
She met the love of her life Ken Dommer while both attended Our Savior Lutheran Church and on September 14, 1985 she married Ken at the very same church they met at. They were members of Our Savior for 16 years before transitioning to Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Jermaine and Ken were active members with Pilgrim for 27 years together. Jermaine was very devoted to her faith.
She loved going out to lunch with her friends and her family, reading her bible and shopping.
Jermaine is survived by her loving husband, Ken; siblings: Joanne Kramer, James Kroening and Judy (Mike) Daul; in-laws: Arlene Dommer, Karen (Carl) Riske and Ron Dommer; nieces and nephews: Greg, Charles, Jeff, Jimmy Junior, Dean, Kevin, Pastor Wade, Amy, Brian (Katie), Joel (Amanda) and Dan (Jill); and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her father and mother-in-law; brother-in-law, Roman Kramer; sister-in-law, Judy Kroening; and niece, Pam Kramer.
A Funeral Service for Jermaine will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 11 AM at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1731 St Agnes Dr, Green Bay, WI 54304. A Visitation will begin an hour prior to the funeral service at 10 AM also at the church. Entombment will be held at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
