Jerome Tork Obituary
A memorial service will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 11:00 am. Military honors will follow the service at the funeral home. Visitation will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.
Jerome was born on July 5, 1940, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to George and Alice (Kitowski) Tork. He graduated from Lincoln High School. Jerome met the love of his life Ann Tork, and they were married on June 7, 1968, in Wisconsin Rapids. Jerome proudly served in the United States Army where he served in the Korean Conflict.
Jerome was an owner/operator for Tork Trucking and Excavating. He was a member of Ridge Gun Club and a founding member of The River Fishing Club.
Jerome was an avid cribbage player where he played at least once a week and even played in many tournaments. His greatest joy was spending time outdoors, especially deer hunting.
Jerome is survived by his brother, David (Cindy) Tork; sisters, Ginny (Larry) Lucas, Susan (Ted) Haydock; sister-in-law, Vicki Tork and many extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ann Tork; brother, Kenny Tork; sister, Caroline (Bob) Kehrberg.
Ritchay Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
