William W. "Bill" Tork

William "Bill" Tork, age 64, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away at his home on March 6, 2023. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Boone's Saloon. His remains will be interred at Forest Hill Mausoleum.
Bill was born on May 5, 1958 to Daniel W. and Beatrice (Arneson) Tork. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1976. He worked at Consolidated Papers and various jobs in the area.
Bill started taking guitar lessons when he was around 10 years old. He loved to entertain his family and friends! He loved live music, playing guitar, cruising on his Harley, being barefoot, his dog Knuckles, his lake property and helping family and friends. He also loved downhill skiing back in the day and talked about wishing he could build up his strength to take one more run.
Bill is survived by his mother, Bea Tork, brothers, Dan (Peggy) and Jim, all of Wisconsin Rapids. Their families, niece, Lexi (Nathan) Weiler, their children, Shaun, Cate, and Emma. Nephews, Denny (Amy) Tork, A.J. (Sandy) Tork, all of Wisconsin Rapids, his son Logan of East Lansing, MI and Lucas (Sarah) Tork of Denver, CO; three aunts, one uncle and many cousins. Special friends, Denny Goetsch, Chuck Covi, Sara Wenzel, Tuck Pense, Rick Wenzel, Eric Wenzel, Paul Kruske, "Big" Al Berkowitz and many others.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, infant brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles and one cousin.
A special thank you to Denny Goetsch and Chuck Covi for always being there for Bill. And to Chuck Covi for finding Knuckles a new home!
