Jerquan Keith Reed, affectionately known as Quan, was born on June 13, 1995, to Jerry Keith Reed, Jr. and Amy Armstrong Reed in Temple, Texas. He graduated from Temple High School in 2013 and later attended Temple College.
Jerquan worked faithfully in various warehouse positions throughout his life. Some of the companies he served included Artco Bell, PSI, Tru Mobile, and Moore Co. He was also blessed with stepchildren whom he lovingly cared for-once they became his, they were always his.
Jerquan was a member of Eighth Street Baptist Church, where he accepted Christ and was baptized.
Quan will be remembered for his infectious humor and joyful spirit. He loved to joke, smile, dance, and spend time with his friends and family. He departed this earthly life for his heavenly home on November 8, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Reed III; his grandfathers, Johnny Armstrong and Jerry Reed Sr.; his grandmother, Gloria Reed; and his great-grandmother, Margie Rusk.
Left to cherish his memory are his father, Jerry Keith Reed Jr.; his mother, Amy Armstrong Reed (Devon) of Temple; his grandmother, Annie Armstrong of Temple; his brothers, Walter Lee (Deanna) of Temple, Jeremy Jordan and Terrius Randolph of Dallas; his sisters, Dewante Armstrong, YaNita Taylor, and Te'Asia Noble of Temple, Jerremesha Reed (William) and Raven Griffin of Atlanta, Georgia, and Domonique Smith (Roderick) of Dallas. He is also survived by his uncles, Johnny Armstrong Jr., Steve Armstrong, and Chuck Armstrong, all of Temple, and David Reed (Shawn) of Dallas; his aunt, Shante Reed of Temple; his favorite cousin, Ricky Rusk of Dallas; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
