He is survived by his father, Larry McCarter of Ranger, GA; son, Brandon Clifford; daughter, Kendra Bishop of Rome, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Amber Massingill of Resaca, GA, Donny and Jessica McCarter of Fairmount, GA, Olen McCarter, Alan and Karrie McCarter of Ranger, GA; sisters, Addie Heath, Tracy Lumpkin of Calhoun, GA; nephews, Joshua Massingill, Jordan Massingill, Matthew Holder, Kyle Heath; two grandchildren.
Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jerry "Dewayne" Massingill will be held Monday July 8, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. from the Sugar Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Mitch Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the West Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
