Jerry Schultz Obituary
He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Jerry grew up in Brigham City attending Box Elder High School. He married and had a son, Troy. They later divorced.
In 1971, he married the love of his life, Lynda Wilburn Schultz. He joined the Army where he was stationed in Germany, receiving the National Defense Service Metal Expert M-16.
After his stint in the Army, they made their home in Brigham City, having 2 boys: Corey and Brett Schultz.
In 1972, he started his career with ABC as a laborer and worked his way up to V.P. and Partner playing an integral role in making ABC what it is today. He made many lifetime friends there. He retired in 2007.
Jerry was an outdoor enthusiast, building his dream cabin with his own hands, next to his best friend, Bill Billings. He spent many years there with lots of family and friends.
He fought and won many battles with illness, giving his family extra years.
Jerry will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of almost 52 years, Lynda Schultz; 3 sons: Troy (Jeff), Corey (Natalie), and Brett (Amber); 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; and brother: Larry Schultz.
In lieu of flowers, we ask you to donate to the Huntsman Cancer Center.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah. Viewings will be held the night before on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary and prior to the service on Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.

Jerry was a wonderful brother in law, we had some good times when we lived closer together, we would go fishing drink a cold one, and when we would come visit, him and Lynda seen we never wanted for nothing, we will truly miss him, Rest In Peace my brother.
