SHEYACHICH, Jerry Emil - Age 82, of Whitmore Lake formerly of Linden, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
Jerry was born February 12, 1943 in Detroit, the son of Walter and Elsie (Wikenczy) Sheyachich. He was a 1960 graduate of Fitzgerald High School in Warren. He married Nancy Jean Boufford June 20, 1964 in Detroit and she preceded him in death April 26, 2012. He was a self employed carpenter for many years. Jerry enjoyed stamp collecting, metal detecting and his visits to the coffee shop.
Surviving are: his children, Robert and Lynette Sheyachich of Swartz Creek, Jerilyn Fisher of Linden and Amy Sheyachich of Pontiac; grandchildren, Thomas (Chelsea), Kyle, Jeffrey, Daniel, Taylor (Devin), Sydney and Tristan; great grandchildren, Riley, Thomas and Natalie; special family friends, Mandy, Ari and Joan; and 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Elsie Sheyachich; son, Thomas Sheyachich; and sisters, Mariane Briesmeister and Shirley Sheyachich. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
