Jerry Oliver Smith Jr. passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.
Jerry was born to Jerry Smith Sr and Delores (Vasquez) Stephens on Thursday, October 24, 1963 in Oklahoma City, OK. Jerry went to school at Putnam City Schools. Jerry started working at a young age, he worked many years in the Oil field and in construction. He enjoyed being outdoors doing things like hunting and fishing. Jerry loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He was well liked by all he met, his kind spirit will be missed.
Jerry is preceded in death by his father Jerry Smith Sr and his daughter Lynda Thompson.
Jerry leaves behind children Jerry Smith III, David Smith, Lisa Smith and Richard Smith; brothers Tony Smith, Kenneth “Lee” Smith, and Greg Smith; sister Denise McClendon; as well as grandchildren Christian, Olivia, Alice, Lucien, Jerry, Landon, Makayla, Logan, Zailey, Amilia, and Tagan; and many more extended family and friends.
There will be a come and go visitation Monday, 10am - 5pm at the funeral home as well as Tuesday 9am - 11am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 1:00 pm at St. Louis Catholic Church in Stroud with burial to follow at Bristow City Cemetery.
