Jimmie Melton Burns, age 76, of rural El Dorado Springs, Mo., passed away in his home on Monday, July 28th, 2025. Jimmie was born July 30th, 1949, in Arcola, Missouri, to Mr. Cecil Burns and Mrs. Naomi Burns.

Preceding Jimmie in death were his wife, Peggy; his parents, Cecil Burns and Naomi Burns; and one brother, Clifford Burns.

Survivors include five siblings: brother, Vernon Burns; brother, Lyle Burns; brother, Kyle Burns; sister, Glenda Brown; four children: son, Clint Burns and family; daughter, Lisa Snead and family; step-son, Rick Larson and family; and step-daughter, Julie Schloemer and family.
