Jimmy Lee Washington Sr. was born May 4, 1945 to Bernice Moyne and James Washington. He retired from Singing River Hospital after years of dedication as a security guard. He was loved by everyone he met, and he never met a stranger. Jimmy Washington Sr. passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025 in Pascagoula, MS at the age of 80.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Washington, his mother, Bernice Washington, three sons, Jimmy Washington Jr., Kavie Simmons and Christopher Calhoun, and one sister, Rosie Davis.
Jimmy was deeply loved and will be missed by his three daughters, Felicha (Chris) Davis of Oklahoma, Ericka Simmons of Mobile, AL and Quinzetta Clark of Oklahoma, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
