Jimmy N. Wilson

Jimmy N. Wilson, 78, Stewartsville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

He was born July 1, 1947 in Ava, Missouri to Clyde and Julia (Fry) Wilson. He lived in Ava until moving to St. Joseph, Missouri as an adult.

He married Alice Ann Miller on January 21, 1984. She preceded him in death.

Jimmy was a forklift operator at Johnson Controls for 30-plus years.

He enjoyed deer and turkey hunting in his younger years, and later on he and Alice loved going to auctions. In later years, he enjoyed going for walks and tending to Alice's flower garden.

Jimmy was a quiet man, but had a good sense of humor and a memorable cackling laugh.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; his parents; infant sister, Angela Boone; brothers, Michael and Gerald Wilson; and nephew, Wesly Shandy.

Survivors include son, Nick Wilson; stepdaughter, Angie; sisters-in-law, Connie Shandy (Wayne), and Nancy Lusk (Danny); several nieces and nephews.
