Sheryl L. Long, 77, Stewartsville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

She was born February 16, 1948 to Hilda Frances (Capps) and Pershing V. "PV" Willis in Hannibal, Missouri.

Sheryl was a truly joyful soul who embraced life with an open heart and a ready laugh. She was known for her happiness, her easygoing nature, and her ability to make those around her feel comfortable and welcome. Sheryl believed in being honest and real-if something bothered her, she wouldn't hide it-but that honesty was always part of her genuine and caring spirit.

She was preceded in death by her husband Francis W. Long, and her parents.

Survivors include her children, Lynne Anne Dillon (Shawn), Scott Roberson (Rennee) and Mystery Adams; Stepchildren, Jeanna Edwards (Craig) and Kasie Long Steinkamp (Jeff); grandchildren, Ian Dillon, Tyler Roberson, Olivia Edwards, Henry Steinkamp, Hudson Steinkamp and Rosalyn Steinkamp.
