Joan Dorfmann

Joan Dorfmann, 76, passed away peacefully in Portland, Oregon on November 10, 2025, after a long illness.
Joan built a distinguished career in the IT industry, most notably serving as Vice President at ADP and Broadridge, where her leadership and expertise left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the organization.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Joan had a deep artistic soul that expressed itself in many forms. She enjoyed painting and was a master at decorating, transforming spaces with her keen eye for beauty and design. Joan liked to entertain and loved bringing people together, creating memorable gatherings where her creativity, warmth, and hospitality made everyone feel welcome.
Joan is survived by her beloved sons, Joshua and Zachary; her brother, Bill; her daughter-in-law, Akari; and her three cherished grandsons, Marcello, Casimir, and Leo. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Joan's roots, friends, and relatives are largely from the New York, New Jersey, and Delaware area. The family is planning to hold a celebration of life for Joan on the east coast in the summer of 2026.
