MILLERSBURG - Joan D. Feidt, age 90, of Millersburg, PA died peacefully at home on May 6, 2024, with her family at her side.
She was born on May 20, 1933 in Elizabethville, PA, the daughter of the late Earl and Sally (Yerges) Sultzbaugh. She was a 1951 graduate of Millersburg High School. After graduation she attended St. Louis Music School.
Joan was married to Glenn E. Feidt for 71 years.
She worked as a secretary at Muskin Shoe Co., as a clerk at Leppert's 5 & 10, and retired from Weis Markets, Millersburg. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Millersburg, where she played in the kitchen band and was part of the sewing circle. She enjoyed reading, sewing, embroidery and crafts. She spent many hours in her flower beds and loved watching the spring bloom.
In addition to her husband Glenn, she is survived by her granddaughter Janna Wack and her husband Jason; granddaughter Jade Malehorn; and great-grandsons Jase & Jamison Wack.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruthanna Coleen Malehorn, and her sisters Ruth Novinger, Anna Schroyer, and her brother John Sultzbaugh.
Services will be private for family, with burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 324 North Street, Millersburg, PA 17061.
Arrangements are being cared for by the staff of Minnich Funeral. The former John R.
