Joan Shaw Obituary

Born in Bridgeton, to the late Andrew Glendon and Lavica Rammel Glendon, she had been the wife of the late Ronald Shaw who passed away in 2014. After she and her husband retired they moved to West Virginia for a time and then to Florida. Prior to her retirement she had been a American History teacher for Bridgeton High School, where she herself had graduated in 1957. In her free time, she enjoyed training and raising horses with her husband.
She is survived by; her brother, Andrew Glendon of Zephyrhills, FL; her sister, Donna Orton of Bridgeton; and her nieces; Joanne Lance of Vineland, Barbara Skarbek of Marlton and Jean Ann Maguire of Media, PA. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Andrew and Lavica Glendon; and her husband of 53 years, Ronald Shaw.
Private graveside services will take place at a later date. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website, www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
