Joan Beryl Stoller, 88, of Trinity, Florida, passed away Saturday March 29, 2025.
In life Joan was a small business owner and evolving artist. Born in Norfolk,
Virginia, she grew up in Newport, Rhode Island, and spent her adult life in
Cleveland, Ohio, before an opportunity presented itself in South Florida and with
her business partner they owned and operated Char-Lee Day Care. Following the
sale of their business, she relocated to Trinity, Florida to be closer to family.
There, she and husband Merrill developed the Heritage Springs residential library,
taught Mah Jongg, nurtured friendships and focused on creative outlets.
Joan loved her family, friends and life. She will be remembered for her strength,
sassiness and smile.
Joan is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years, Merrill; her son
Benjamin Plymesser; her brother Jack Murphy; and her first husband Robert
Plymesser. Joan is survived by her beloved sisters Joyce Gollis and Jayne
Silverberg, and sister in law Brenda Stoller; the children that she and Merrill
shared: Judith Moroff (Dirk), Leah Larsen (Glenn), Cid Stoller (Lynn), David Stoller
(Guillermo), and bonus daughter Barbara Martin; grandchildren Sam Moroff,
Jacob Moroff (Jennifer), Casey Redlhammer, and Erin Larsen (CJ); nieces Alexis
Stoller, Marcia Shallows (Mike), Katie Cronin (David) and Stephanie Weiner;
nephews Aleks Stoller (Ashlynn), Adam Weiner, Paul Gollis (Jane), John Murphy
(Ann Burr Clevenger), and Michael Murphy (Lori).
A memorial service is planned for Tuesday, April 8 at 10:30 am at the Heritage
Springs Country Club. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Gulf Coast JFCS,
West Pasco Art Guild, Metropolitan Ministries, or any organization that supports
your community. Our world will just not be the same. May her memory be for a
blessing to us all.

We may never know just how many lives have been impacted by Joan. Some at a very tender age, at her preschool, her neighbors, friends and, most important, her children. Joan always shared her radiant smile and wit. I will miss her.
