Joan L. Wagner Simon passed away peacefully, and surrounded by her family, from complications with Parkinson's Disease on November 28, 2023. Born in Norristown, PA on August 6, 1946 she was a loving daughter to the late LeRoy and Mildred Wagner (nee Fithian), and a loving wife to the late Eric Simon.
Upon graduating from Norristown Area High School in 1964, Joan went on to serve as a receptionist and secretary for several different medical companies over the years. Above all else, her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. She was a loving mother to Michael Hogan (Timothy Carey) and Heather Mastroni (Frank Mastroni), dear grandmother to Lee, Luke and Frankie, sister to Carol Rogers (Don Rogers) and friend to many. Joan was also dedicated to animals and cherished her many pets over the years, and we find comfort in knowing that she was welcomed into heaven by her loving companions. Joan will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to Joan's Life Celebration on Monday December 18, 2023 from 10:00 am to 10:50 am with her Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 am all at Lower Providence Presbyterian Church of Eagleville, PA, 3050 West Main Street. Interment to follow at Lower Providence Presbyterian Churchyard.
