JoAnn M. (Hahn) Bevauns, 83, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, went home to our Lord, Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Lisbon Rehabilitation & Care Center, Lisbon, Iowa. The family will be greeting guests from 1:00-2:45PM on July 18, 2025, at Ascension Lutheran Church, Marion, followed by the burial at 3:00 at Cedar Memorial Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
JoAnn was born in Manchester, Iowa on April 24, 1942, to Frederick and Lillian (Timmerman) Hahn. She graduated from Marion High School, Marion, Iowa in 1960. JoAnn then attended Cedar Rapids College of Beauty. On June 2, 1962, she was united in marriage to Junior (Butch) Stade. To this union were born 2 children, Gina Marie & Brent Lee. After the children entered school, Jo started her career in cosmetology at Killien's Beauty Salon. Retiring in 2019 as Jo's Golden Comb.
JoAnn is survived in loving memory by her daughter in law Erna Stade, grandson Derin Vaverka, granddaughters Kayla Brown, Brianna Sloan, Shelby Mathers, and 9 great grandchildren; brother Dale Hahn; two sisters LaDonna Kolosik and Neva Schumacher; and many nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; husband Butch, daughter Gina, son Brent, granddaughter Michelle Stade, son in law Earl Brown; brother Melvin Hahn and sisters Arlene Turner and Delores Coffin.
