JoAnn Lynch, aged 69, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 31, 1956, in Boston, JoAnn was a thoughtful individual who dedicated her life to serving her community in various capacities. She was born to the late Joseph and Patricia Kezer and grew up in Dorchester until 1970. After that, she moved to Stoughton until 1984 and then made Attleboro her home.
JoAnn was a proud graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1974. Her career was marked by a long tenure as a clerk at the Sharon Post Office, where her thoughtful demeanor and dedication made her a beloved figure. Beyond her professional life, JoAnn was an avid cook and gardener. She also made time to volunteer for the VFW Post 115, served as a school crossing guard for nine years, and was an RCIA volunteer and CCD teacher at her church.
She is survived by her loving husband Gerald (Jerry) Lynch of Attleboro; her beloved son, Tim Lynch of Attleboro; her step-son, Robbie Lynch and his wife Jeanette of New York; her grandchildren, Bobby and Kevin Lynch of New York; her brother, Jerry Kezer of Brentwood, NH; nephews, Shaun Kezer of Franklin, Joseph Kezer of Pelham, NH and Jonathan Kezer of Seabrook, NH; and her nieces, Jennifer Meaney of Easton and Meghan Haugevik of Yarmouth, ME
In addition to her parents, JoAnn is predeceased by her cherished son, Chris Lynch and brother, Bill Kezer.
Visitation respectfully omitted.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts, on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 10 am. Burial will take place at a later date.
Services are under the care of Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Children's Cancer Research Fund at https://childrenscancer.org/
