Obituary of JoAnne Anderson
JoAnne Anderson, 76, of Shenandoah, Pennsylvania passed away at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was born and raised in New York and lived in Jackson before retiring to Pennsylvania in 2003. JoAnne was a beloved clerk at Jackson Pharmacy and worked at Kimball Medical Center in Registration and Mobile Mammograms, where she brightened the lives of all who crossed her path. She was a proud member of the first graduating class of Jackson Memorial High School and dedicated many years of service to the Jackson Township EMS. JoAnne had a deep love for her family and her Italian heritage, which she cherished dearly. She was known for her generosity and support of the police and Vietnam veterans, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. In her free time, JoAnne enjoyed crafting and creating beautiful handmade pieces for her loved ones. She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, and unwavering dedication to those she cared about.
JoAnne is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Frances DiPaola; brother, James Storozynsky. She is survived by her husband, Walter E. Anderson, Jr; daughter, Dawn Nagy and her husband, Robert of Howell; two grandchildren, Katrina Arias and her husband, Alex and Dane Yeager.
