Joanne (Bergeron) Howell, 67, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2025, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Randy K. Howell. Born in Fall River, Joanne was the devoted daughter of the late Joseph R. Bergeron and Louise (Almeida) Bergeron. She is survived by her loving children Karen Fish (Jesse), David Choquette (Raquel), and Jennifer Martin (James). She also leaves her adoring grandchildren Tatyana, Savannah, Ethan, Hailey, Lynnea, Ava, Lucas, Dexter and Elizabeth; as well as her brothers Roger and Thomas Bergeron and many nieces and nephews. Joanne is predeceased by her beloved daughter Elizabeth Choquette.
Joanne grew up in Swansea, MA and attended Case High School followed by Katharine Gibbs School. She was a devoted mother and Nana to nine grandchildren; often traveling hundreds of miles to watch their sporting events, dance recitals, graduations and musicals. Joanne loved to sing along to her favorite songs and was especially fond of live music. Spending time with her family and friends, laughing and playing board games were things she truly enjoyed. She could make any person in the room smile. Above all Joanne loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren who will miss her dearly. Her love will forever be felt by all those she leaves behind.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00pm. Her burial will be private at a later date this Spring.
