Louann Anderson

Louann (O'Neal) Anderson, age 67, passed away peacefully the morning of Saturday, August 23, 2025, with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of David R. Anderson, to whom she shared 43 years of marriage. Born in Providence, she was one of five children born to Constance (Dufresne) O'Neal and the late Michael F. O'Neal.

She was a loving and supportive mother-always in your corner, ready with a sympathetic ear and wise encouragement. Her love of children found its purpose in her career as an early education educator. She adored music and never missed a chance to celebrate, filling the room with her larger than life personality. She was creative and artistic and her talents flourished through the beautiful, handcrafted greeting cards she made for loved ones. She looked forward to the holidays when she was always the first to exclaim, "Let's open presents!" and found joy in watching others unwrap tokens of affection. Louann's generous heart and lively presence will long be treasured by all who knew her.

Louann was the devoted mother of Scott Anderson and Michael Anderson (wife, Jackie); cherished 'Mem' of James, Collin and Bradley. She was the sister of Robert O'Neal, Merrybeth Cutler, Nancy Valois (husband, Michael) and Karen O'Neal; aunt of Matt, Bailee and Conner.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 2-5pm with a Funeral Ceremony at 5pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Her burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louann's memory to Continuum Hospice – Rhode Island, 1350 Division Road, Ste 205, West Warwick, RI 02893 are greatly appreciated.
