Jodi Shay, age 54, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday morning, December 10, 2025, in her residence.
She was born in Meadville on August 6, 1971, a daughter of Robert and Barbara (Casler) Shay.
Jodi graduated from Maplewood High School, earned her degree in Education from Trinity University, and later completed her Master of Divinity at the University of Denver.
She was an avid Erie SeaWolves fan and enjoyed camping and boating at Pymatuning, as well as traveling, cooking, playing the piano, and listening to music.
She is survived by her father, Robert Shay of Meadville; a brother, James Shay and his wife Amy of Beaver, PA; a nephew, Christian Shay and his wife Victoria; a niece, Brittany Brumbaugh and her husband Ryan; a great niece, Chloe Shay.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Family and friends will be received on Friday December 12, 2025, from 4:00- 6:00PM at ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC. 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.
Burial will be private in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd., Meadville, PA 16335
