Jody Anson Jaques 48, was born on April 17,1975 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Pamla and Lonnie Bartmess. Jody was adopted by Bill Jaques. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 18,2023 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Jody attending Chickasha Public Schools where he was a member of Phase 4 choir and participated in baseball for three years. He attended Alex Public Schools where he participated in baseball for one year and graduated with honors.
After high school, Jody enlisted in the United States Navy served for 4 years as Corpsman. Jody married Laurie Sharp unto their union Alyssa Jaques was born.
After discharge from Navy, Jody came home to Chickasha, Oklahoma lived for many years. Jody worked in Oklahoma City as scrub tech for a podiatrist. Jody married Shelby Knowles unto their union Gunner Jaques was born.
Jody loved to go fishing with his best buddy Gunner. Jody loved going to OSU Cowboys ball games.

Jody was a very talented and self-taught musician and songwriter. He could play most music by ear. Jody could play most instruments.
Jody was preceded in death by his Mother, Pamla Jaques; Grandparents, Bert and LeVida Arnold, Herman Hawthorn; Uncles, Pepsi, Neal and Jimmy Hawthorn, Edsel Pool; Aunt Barbara Hawthorn.
He is survived by his children, Alyssa and Gunner Jaques, father, Lonnie Bartmess; sister, Regina Bartmess Frye; brother Robert and Lang Bartmess; Aunts and Uncles, Patricia Pool, Janell and Frank Ludwell, Ricky and Tammie Hawthorn, Kay and Randy Williams, Kim and Janet Hawthorn, adopted Father Bill Jaques and numerous wonderful cousins.
