Mr. Joe H. Anderson, age 95
Of Waverly, TN passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Waverly Hills in Waverly. He was born in Waverly on November 13, 1929, to the late Frank Harvill Anderson and Kathleen Bass Anderson.
Joe was a graduate of Waverly Central High School where he was a star basketball player. He received a bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay State University.
Joe spent 25 years in the United States Army. During his enlistment, he was stationed in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Germany, Virigina, and North Carolina. After retiring and being honorably discharged, Joe went to work for the United State Postal Service for 12 years before retiring.
