Joe David Bannerman, age 56, of Northport, Alabama, passed away August 17, 2025, at home. Graveside services will be at Piney Woods Cemetery in Northport, Ala., with Bro. Scott Montgomery officiating. The date will be announced later.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Betty Bannerman; grandparents, G. W. and Mildred Reed, and Thomas and Beulah Bannerman, all of Tuscaloosa County.
Survivors include his brothers, Johnny Bannerman, Roy Bannerman, and Troy Bannerman.
David was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on June 25, 1969, to John and Betty Bannerman. He graduated from Northside High School in 1987 and attended Shelton State, learning diesel mechanics, then went into the field where he worked for 35 years on heavy equipment.
David loved hunting, fishing, riding his 4-wheeler, and helping his brother, Johnny, with his farm equipment.
Honorary pallbearers are Joe Mills, Tony Chandler, Terry Long, Danny Hembree, Lawson Hembree, and the Northside High School Class of 1987.
