John C. Anderson, age 36, died Monday, October 1, 2018 at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis after a two year battle with leukemia.  John was born July 1, 1982 in Fargo, ND to Dwight and Karen Anderson. John graduated from Oak Grove Lutheran School in Fargo and from Concordia College in Moorhead. He was employed at Noridian in Fargo prior to moving to White Bear Lake, Minnesota in 2017.​John was a sports fan, especially the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Wild, and he loved to travel. He combined those interests by attending games at almost every major league baseball park. John loved playing board games and the Star Wars card game with friends and family.​He is survived by his parents, brother Paul (Andrea) Anderson, sister Laura (Jarrod) Leder, nephews Bjorn and Torsten Anderson, and nieces Gretchen and Claudia Leder, all of White Bear Lake.​Friends and family are invited to stop by the Crooked Pint Ale House at 3340 13th Ave S. in Fargo on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. There also will be a visitation time from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home-Roseville, 2130 N. Dale St. @ County Rd. B.  A private family service will be held at a later date.​In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to leukemia research or your local blood bank.
