I worked with Arch in many different ways. First, he was huge in supporting me and promoting me within GT. I also worked closely with him on various standards setting boards, both in the US and internationally. No matter what the setting, Arch was universally admired and loved. I am more than proud to have been honored to work next to such a wonderful and inspiring man. And somehow, we always managed to have fun. Denise, I know you and your family miss him, and I'm so sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing him with us. He was a true friend.

Arch and I grew up two doors apart in the Park Hill neighborhood of East Denver. We spent loads of time growing up together. He was a great buddy and I am fortunate having known him, his sisters and brothers. My sincere condolences to his family at this difficult time. He will be sorely missed.

Arch and I worked closely together on many complex matters at GT. I evolved and grew by watching his calm, thoughtful approach. Through it all, he was good-natured and respectful to everyone. I once joked with him that he must be a big deal in St. Louis. He asked why, and I said "because they named that big monument after you." He got a kick out of that. There are many of us out here who owe much of our professional development to our friend Arch. He deserves a big monument for the influence that he had on those around him. He will be missed.

I owe everything I achieved professionally to Arch. He was my mentor and my friend as he was to many others at Grant Thornton. He was quick to share what was going on with Kelly and Patrick. He was so proud of you two. He was one of the good ones and will be missed by all who knew him. My deepest condolences to Denise, Kelly and Patrick.

Denise and family
I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Arch for many years at Grant Thornton.I will always remember how he would take a difficult problem and make it manageable, and teaching you in the process , while maintaining his sense of humor at the same time. He will be missed very much by his many colleagues and friends. My prayers are with the entire family.

When I retired last year from Grant Thornton, i had a chance to select a few of my mentors/friends who made the most impact on my career and life for a video tribute. Arch was at the top of that list. I am grateful for his leadership, his mentoring, his friendship, and for welcoming me and others to Grant Thornton during a challenging time in our careers. Thanks Arch. Will miss you. Heartfelt condolences to Denise and the family.
