John C Boyette, age 75 of Buford, GA, died June 12, 2025. He was born in Metter, GA, then lived in Collins, GA before moving to Duluth in 1958. He graduated from Duluth High School in 1968. Mr. Boyette was a retired insurance salesman and investment advisor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Growing up, he loved to play sports of all types, especially tennis. He loved boating on Lake Lanier with friends and family. He loved to watch the Atlanta Falcons and UGA football. He loved to socialize and seemed to have never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife Kathy McDaniel Boyette of Buford; cousins, Ronnie Allen (Sharon) of Hiawassee, Connie Fulcher of Grayson, Donna Marie Allen of Dahlonega, Susie Higgins (James Nicholson), Logan Allen of Toccoa and Patricia Harris of Collins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Hardley Boyette and Gladys Tootle Boyette, brother, Tommy Boyett, Grandmother, Addie Mae Boyette.
The family will receive friends Saturday June 28, 2025 from 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM at Bill Head Funeral Home Duluth Chapel, with Rev. James Dispain officiating.
