John Connolly Obituary
He was born in Wareham and lived there all his life. He graduated from Wareham High School, class of 1982.
He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for P.A. Landers Construction Co.
Mr. Connolly was a call firefighter for the Wareham Fire Department. He served on the Wareham Conservation Commission and Prudential Committee.
Survivors include his fiance, Bonnie Coulson of West Wareham; his former wife, Laurie J. (Jepson) Connolly; his children, Kerri Murphy of Pembroke, Jamie Connolly of Bourne and Craig Connolly of Middleboro; his sisters, Debbie Smith of Plymouth, Bridget Connolly of Wareham; a brother, Don Maxim of NH; 3 grandchildren, Erin and Aiden Murphy and Skylar Daubert.
Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – WAREHAM, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.
Burial will be private at a later date.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts, 2 Center Plaza, Suite 4M, Boston, MA 02108.

John´s smile and laughter were contagious. He often joked that he was on the board of directors so he had to protect his interests. But really he just enjoyed visiting with different people in the dealership. He actually did watch out for us. He would often drive through and check on things. And he shared his larger than life personality and warmth with all of us. He will be sorely missed by each of us as he had a way of touching people´s lives with his presence. His journey on earth may be over but we will meet up with him one day in heaven where we will once again hear his laughter.
Until then we will carry on with you in our memories. We love you John.

Many early morning coffees have been shared with John and his friends. Their visits are the highlight for that time in my life. Rest easy, my friend, you will be missed by many.
