John Cracchiolo, 67, a beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, at the Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge. Born on January 2, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Octavious and Rita (Antico) Cracchiolo, John was a lifelong resident until settling to be closer to his son in Old Bridge. John brought joy and kindness into the lives of all who knew him.
John was a devoted family man, treasuring his role as a father and grandfather above all else. He is survived by his son, John Cracchiolo, Jr., and his daughter-in-law, Ashley, who brought him immense pride and happiness. His only grandson, Grayson, was the light of his life, and John's eyes would twinkle with delight at every mention of Grayson.
For many years, John dedicated his professional life to Pioneer Logistic Solutions in Matawan, where he served as a respected Shipping Manager. His colleagues will remember him as a man who led with both authority and empathy, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a laugh to lighten the mood. An all-around fun guy, John's zest for life was contagious. He was an avid fan of the New York Rangers, and his enthusiasm for his team was unyielding. Whether at the arena or watching from home, John cheered on his team with the same passion he applied to every aspect of his life.
Those who knew John would describe him as loving, friendly, and funny. His ability to turn any situation into a moment of joy was one of his most remarkable gifts. His warm presence made every gathering a memorable one.
John's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the profound impact he had on those around him. As we say farewell to a man who was so much to so many, we hold onto the cherished memories and the lessons of kindness he imparted.
Those wishing to attend services for John are welcome on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 3pm until 7pm and on Monday, June 30, 2025, beginning at 8:00am. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 9:00am followed by a 9:30am funeral mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Old Bridge.
