John P Cyriacks "Jay" 72, of Belford, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on November 27, 2024. He was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1952. Jay graduated from Tottenville High School, Staten Island in 1970. He worked as a Warehouse Manager for Thortel Fireproof Fabrics Inc. for many years.
He met the love of his life, Anne Cyriacks, in Holmdel, NJ and the two married in 1979. Since then, they had resided in Monmouth County.
Jay was an avid sports fan who enthusiastically rooted for the NY Mets, Knicks and Jets.
Jay was also was a skilled artist. He always looked forward to his weekly outings with his Thursday crew. He enjoyed the beach and spending time with his family in L.B.I.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anne E. Cyriacks, parents Jack and Margaret Cyriacks and his brothers Bernie, Stephen, and Matthew Cyriacks.
Surviving are his sister and brother in law, Kathy and Jim Raichle of North Carolina, his brother in law and sister in law Michael and Pam Hilger of Wisconsin, two sisters-in-law, JoAnn Cyriacks of New Jersey and Ellen Cyriacks of Staten Island; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2024, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown.
A funeral service will be offered Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown.
Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
Arrangements are under the direction of John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
