John was a loving father, grandfather and husband.
John is preceded in death by his wife Marion Bernice Davis.
He is survived by his daughter Janice F. Davis; grandson William J. Davis; great granddaughter Amethyst Rose Davis; great grandson Ragnar K. Mitchell; sisters, Peggy Koonce and Dixie Davis; brothers Jimmy Davis (Shirley) and Bill Davis (Margaret).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given as gift cards or fruit trees in Mr. Davis' memory.

I am a Navy Veteran of Wars! I was Johnnys center playing football at HMHS. We had fun. I live in Pensacola and was looking for him as he passed. Thoughts of him always make me smile. He was a good HS QB. If he was a great QB I wouldn´t know as I was already in Vietnam. Only good feelings and since he was a senior chief I know he was a great sailor. May our Lord receive him .

Mr.Davis was a hard working man that loved his family and wanted the best for them. He worked hard to make sure they had what they needed. Mr.Davis alway brought a smile to me when he stopped by the Vision Center. He was always kind and soft spoken. A very sweet man and he will be missed. Love and hugs to Janice and William.
