A Prayer of Comfort and Peace

Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the life and love of a man who gave so much of himself to raise and guide a family with strength, wisdom, and kindness. Though not bound by blood, he was bound by something stronger love. Today, we honor his years, his faith, and his devotion, and we find comfort in knowing he has reunited with his beloved Ms. Betty Brooks who passed before him.

Lord, wrap Your arms of peace around his children and all who loved him. May they feel Your presence in their grief, and may the memories of his care bring them comfort in the days ahead. Remind them that to be absent from the body is to be present with You, and that this is not goodbye, but "see you later."

Grant them strength to carry forward his legacy of love, and may their hearts find hope in Your promise of eternal life.

In Jesus“ name, Amen.
