Ronald Reed, age 57, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025. He was born on December 13, 1967, in New Orleans, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth & George Reed, Jr.; siblings, Lionel, Audrey, and Darnell Reed; nieces, Keishayla Reed, Andranika Johnson, and Kanitra Reed; and 13 aunts & uncles.

He leaves to cherish his memory, five siblings: Gloria Hayes, George (Nancy) Reed, Bernice (Jerome) Reed, Geraldine Reed, and Robert Reed; one great aunt, Velma Watkins; four Godchildren, Nyah Patterson, Marquise' Collins, Ronji "RJ" Reed, Jr., and Akio "Migo" Reed; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend Ronald's Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Gentilly Baptist Church, 5141 Franklin Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122. Visitation will begin at 9:00am, followed by funeral services at 10:00am, with Rev. Samuel R. Blakes, officiating.

He will be laid to rest at Rest Haven Cemetery, 10400 Old Gentilly Rd., New Orleans, LA 70127.
