John Steven Dunagan, age 77, of Woodstock, GA, passed away on March 21, 2024, at his residence. Born on December 22, 1946, John dedicated 33 years of service to Lockheed Martin and was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
John's zest for life was evident in his many passions, which included solving puzzles, collecting antiques, exploring underwater worlds through scuba diving, and enthusiastically following WWE. His love for classic TV shows brought back fond memories and created a bridge to the past for those who shared in his viewing pleasure. John's unwavering smile and compassionate nature never failed to uplift those around him.
John is survived by his wife of over 34 years, Delma Dunagan; children, Amy Hall (Charlie), John Dunagan and Jeff Dunagan; grandchildren, Jacob, Bethany, Koty, John, Craig and Cameron; brother, Bob Dunagan; sister, Pat Dunagan Howell (Jim); as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Charles Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
