John Esposito Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Craig Funeral Home on Jan. 4, 2024.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of John Stanley Esposito, known as Jake to most, born in St. Augustine, FL, on July 14, 1991.
Jake left this world on December 28th, 2023 at the age of 32 from cardiac arrest, caused by an enlarged heart. He is leaving behind a legacy of love and friendship. He was a devoted sibling, caring son, proud father, loving husband, and a loyal friend. His sudden departure has left a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit will continue to resonate through the countless lives he touched. Jake was a devoted husband to Caroline and the greatest father to their beloved son, Ryder Esposito. Jake's role as a husband and father brought a special brightness to his life, and his memory will forever be a source of inspiration to those who witnessed the depth of his love for his family.
Jake lived his entire life in St. Augustine. He graduated from Pedro Menendez High School with the class of 2009 and worked Front of the House at Sunset Grille for 14 years.
Jake's journey through life was marked by a genuine passion for connecting with people. His love for family and friends was always paramount. He brought comfort and happiness to all, and his absence leaves a profound loss.
Most importantly, Jake found his greatest joy in spending quality time with his son, Ryder. Jake was a kid at heart and loved getting outside to play with Ryder and the neighborhood kids or his many nieces and nephews. Ryder was the light of his life and he was so proud of his little boy. His legacy will live on in his eyes. Caroline described Jake as a great father and wonderful husband. He loved the water, spending time at the beach, going to springs, snorkeling, skating, and surfing.
Jake's departure is an important reminder to treasure the moments we have with our loved ones. In the wake of this profound loss, let us remember the joy and laughter he brought into our lives.
Jake was loved and will be deeply missed by his surviving family members who include: who include: his wife, Caroline and son Ryder Esposito; his parents, Peter and Ann Esposito; Father and Mother in law, Claiborne and Tatiana Stevens; sisters, Casey Muszynski and Kiira Belonzi; Sister in Law, Stephanie Stevens; Brother in Laws, Tomasz Muszynski, Cory Belonzi, Charles Stevens, and Albert Stevens; nieces and nephews, Kaia Lovett, Cohen Varignon, Kaylii and Coral Belonzi, Kaemon, Ella, Tai, Cruz and Ilei Muszynski
