John Lewis Fielder, age 60, of Veedersburg, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at home. He was born on November 23, 1964 to Owen Leon and Wilma Ruth (Cleveland) Fielder in Indianapolis. John married Angela Meadows on October 19, 1985 at the Smartsburg Christian Church.
He was a graduate of North Montgomery High School, Class of 1983 and Northwestern Business College and Tech Center in Limo, Ohio. He was an auto mechanic at Fays Auto Mechanic for 12 years before working for Crawford Industries as an extruder operator for 15 years. John was often found working on cars for family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. John was also an avid NASCAR fan. The last few years, John enjoyed playing video games, especially GTA 5. He will be greatly missed by his beloved dog, Fawn.
John is survived by his wife, Angela; two sons, John Jr. (Rachel) and Justin (Cassandra) Fielder; 5 grandchildren, Alanna, Joshua, Marleigh, Braxton, and Kinsley; 4 siblings, Larry (Krissy) Cleveland, Rebecca Mayo; Tamara (James) Anderson, and Jeffery (Tammy) Fielder.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Fielder; and sister, Janet Bennett.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Sanders Funeral Care, 315 S Washington Street in Crawfordsville from 4:00 pm until the time of the service at 6:00pm. Cremation will follow the service. Share memories and condolences at www.SandersFuneralCare.com.
