John P. "Jack" Fleischli

John P. "Jack" Fleischli of Rochester died Thursday December 21, 2023. He was born January 19, 1939 in Springfield the son of Margaret and Edward C Fleischli. He attended St Peter & Paul grade school, Lanphier High School and Springfield College in Illinois. He had a lengthy career at Illinois Bell Telephone where he worked as a technician and installer. He also proudly served as elected Vice-President of the IBEW and helped many employees through arbitration during his time of service with the union. He later worked for Ameritech and was responsible for telephone service at many state buildings including the State Capitol.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his sister Connie Campion, two daughters, Patricia Goodwin and Diane Czerwinsky and two grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memory, BJ Fleischli his wife of 43 years, sister, Nancy Evans, brothers, Edward Fleischli, George Fleischli and Don Fleischli, his children, Kathryn Dinardo, Carolyn Fleischli, Vicky (Wayne) Perdun and Steve Fleischli, as well as ten grandchildren and three great-grand children. He will also be fondly remembered by his numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at Rochester Christian Church, 325 South Walnut Street, in Rochester, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00PM with Pastor Brad Ferris officiating. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Rochester Christian Church.
