John Robert Gale, 69, passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2025, in Katy, Texas. Born October 15, 1955, in Stamford CT to Ruth and Robert Gale, John lived a life full of kindness, adventure, and devotion to his family and friends.
John was a loving and caring father to his two children, Brittany Beatty (Katy Texas), and Jonathan Gale (Stamford CT). His greatest joy and pride came from his four grandchildren – Peyton, Mason, Addison and Harper – who he loved and enjoyed beyond measure. He is survived by his Sister Terri F. Gale (Stratford), Bert J. Gale (Stamford), and his nieces and nephews with whom he shared many cherished memories.
John was a graduate of Wright Tech in Stamford, where he studied Industrial Chemistry. After graduating, his career took him on countless travels all over the country and the world. John was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed camping, bike riding, and rock climbing alongside his nephew Brian, where he gathered a lifetime of memories. When he wasn't enjoying nature, as a talented handyman, John took great joy in lending a helping hand to others. Taking on countless renovations and improvements for others, John was always ready with his tools, a calm steadiness and genuine eagerness to help.
The Gale family would like to send a special thank you to Andrew Beatty who effortlessly assisted our father with the move to Texas and caring for him as if he was his own father. We will forever be grateful for your compassion and dedication to making our father feel secure and comfortable.
Known for his easygoing nature, generous spirit, and willingness to lend a helping hand, John leaves behind a legacy of compassion and strength. John's life is a testament to love and dedication. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all he touched.
Visitation and memorial service will be held at the Thomas M Gallagher Funeral Home 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT from 1:00pm-3:00pm on April 12th, 2025. To send online condolences to the family please visit www.gallagherfuneralhome.com
