John J. Giannone, 55, of Aston passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Crozer-Chester Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was an area resident for most of his life.
John will be remembered for his whimsical sense of humor and the persistent spirit that he maintained despite a variety of health concerns. He was an avid sports fan, a beach enthusiast, and an electrician by trade. He cherished time spent with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving parents: Tina Scarazza and Jesse Rawley, his daughter: Nancy Souders, four grandchildren: Bryson, Winry, Ava, and Ella, two siblings: Tom Scarazza (Tara) and Christina Giannone (Singh) and a host of nieces and nephews. Additionally, he is survived by two uncles: Jim Lai (Terry) and John Lai (Denise).
Visitation: Monday, April 14, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3255 Concord Road, Aston, Pennsylvania, 19014.
Funeral Mass: Monday, April 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3255 Concord Road, Aston, Pennsylvania, 19014.
Interment: Will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flower memorial contributions can be made in John's honor to the Delaware County SPCA.
