John M. Harris

John M. Harris, age 78, of Marshallville, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, following a brief illness. His beloved wife was by his side.
He was born on December 19, 1946, in Eastport, Maine.
John later graduated in the class of 1965 from Shead High School in Eastport.
He later moved to the Medina and Wayne County area's where he has resided for most of his life.
John had served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
For many years, he loved going to Drag races but mostly loved spending time with his family.
He later married Charlotte J. Cottingham on December 1, 1984, in Wadsworth. She survives.
John worked for Wooster Motor Ways as a Truck Driver for over 20 years before retiring in 2010.
In addition to his loving wife of 40 years, he is survived by his 4-foot feline companion, "Fluff Nut"; his sister, Stephanie (Ralph) Simmons of Springfield, TN and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Georgine Hobb.
It was his previous wish that there be no public services, and cremation has taken place.
A private interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
