John David Jessup, 62, husband of Karen Williams Jessup, died Tuesday October 29, 2024. Born in Lexington, Kentucky on June 6, 1962, he was the son of Margaret Myrtle Hosch Jessup and the late Byron Frank Jessup. John was a coach operator with LexTran for 10 ½ years. John was a Lafayette High School graduate and had attended the John Hobson Bible College. He was a member of the Cathedral of Glory in Mt. Sterling and was a long-time member of the Revival Tabernacle in Lexington. John was a loving husband, father, and pops. He loved building and helping his kids with projects, and he was dedicated to spreading the Word of God. In addition to his wife and mother, John is survived by his nine children, Megan Jessup (Andres), John David Jessup, Jr. (Michael), Connor Jessup, Stacey Dunaway (Shaune), Eric Hudson (Mandy), Chrystin Matuszek (Kevin), Christy Curtis, Micah Williams (Arris), and April Roberts (Aaron); 13 grandchildren; three siblings, Byron Jessup (Wanda), Dale Jessup (Paula), and Debrah Ward (Gary); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins and a host of friends. A celebration of life will take place at the Revival Tabernacle, 1820 Versailles Rd., on Saturday November 2, 2024, at 1:00pm. Visitation will be 12:00pm until the hour of service.
